Bay of Islands

It's been almost a week since we made it back to "Northland" New Zealand. I am happy to be able to spend some more time here, it's just always beautiful. After a couple of nights at my beloved Urupukapuka Island we drive to Paihia yesterday, fuelled up, did some grocery shopping and, most important, picked up my friend Michael who will stay with us for 3 weeks. We immediately took him to postcard island, Robertson Island, where we walked up to the lookout for a sunset welcome drink(beer and Cider). This morning we went swimming in the crystal clear waters and then continued on to Urupukapuka for our traditional around the island walk. So, we're enjoying our time.
Tomorrow we're renting a car to drive to Hokianga and the Kauri trees since the weather is supposed to be not so nice.
Have a great weekend everyone- we will!
